About

About

Split Pay makes it easy for groups of friends to split shared expenses fairly.

Just snap photos of receipts and the app automatically imports the line items. The organizer adds participants and shares a link. Each person can then tag the items they ate, drank, or used — no registration required. Only the organizer, the person who paid the bills, needs an account.

As items are tagged, Split Pay automatically calculates each participant’s balance, so everyone can clearly see what they owe. When everything has been reviewed, the organizer locks the trip and sends each participant a payment request for their final share.

How It Works

  1. The organizer creates a trip and uploads receipts.
  2. Participants join through a shared link and tag the items they used.
  3. Split Pay calculates everyone’s share automatically.
  4. Once everything is reviewed, the organizer locks the trip and sends payment requests.

Why Split Pay

Currently in Beta

Split Pay is actively being developed. Features may change, and occasional bugs or short outages are possible. If something doesn’t look right, we’d appreciate your feedback.

The app is currently free to use during beta. Pricing may be introduced later as the product matures, and existing users will receive advance notice before any changes.

Payments

Split Pay does not process payments directly yet. Currently, the app generates payment requests that the organizer can share through any preferred channel, such as chat or email. The actual money transfer happens through whatever payment service participants already use.

Integration with Mollie is planned as the next stage of development, enabling built-in payment processing directly within the app.
